• When Rogue isn't teaching in a classroom or training in the Danger Room, she enjoys going out and having fun. She enjoys activities that get her blood flowing (dancing, motorbikes, hiking, etc.), it's the country girl in her showing.

Superhuman ability to absorb the memories, knowledge, talents, personality, and physical abilities (whether superhuman or not) of another human being (or members of some sentient alien races) through physical contact of her skin with the skin of the other person (sometimes she also duplicates in herself outward physical characteristics of her victim). The victim's abilities and memories are absorbed for a time sixty times longer than the amount of time Rogue was in physical contact with that person.

The victim loses his or her abilities and memories for exactly the length of time that Rogue possesses them. She can keep some of the personality traits of her victims, as well as some of the knowledge. (Example, she gained more of a temper and cockiness from touching Logan, as well as a few combat moves.)

Weaknesses: Rogue is unable to control her powers and therefore must keep her skin covered to avoid harming those who might have accidental contact with her.

Rogue grew up living the relatively normal life of a young woman in Caldecott County, Mississippi. This life was soon changed, however, when her mutant powers manifested during her first kiss with a boy named Cody Robbins. The aftermath of the kiss sent Cody into a coma that endured for three weeks and left Rogue with a mind full of his memories. She soon learned that she had the power to absorb the thoughts and memories of other people with a simple touch. In the case of mutants, she came to discover that she could even absorb the abilities offered by their mutation as well.

Fearful of her newfound power, Rogue ran away from home, eventually ending up near Alaska. It was here that she was located by Professor Xavier using Cerebro, and approached by his X-Men, Storm, Cyclops, and Jean, who asked her to come back with them to the Institute where she could be helped to control her powers.

Life at the institute is never boring. Through the years she has gone through a lot; gained new relationships while losing others, countless near-death experiences, and helping those around her while allowing others to help her. All she experienced has turned her into the adult she is now. Though she still has things to learn, she now knows enough to help teach the younger generation. Sharing her experiences with others in hopes to save them from making some of the mistakes she had.
