Registering an account with My Passion is Writing, MPIW for short, is extremely easy. You do not need an email address and you only need one account for the site. Character profiles are integrated into your account as you create them.

1. Click on the Register link at the top of the site.
2. Username: This is your secret login name. We advise that you make this different from your Displayed Name.
3. Displayed Name: This is the name that you want everyone to know and see on the site, in Discord, etc.
4. Password: Create a secure and easy to remember password.
5. Password Again: Input your password a second time to verify it.
6. TOS Agreement: Click the checkbox to agree to MPIW's rules, regulations, and privacy policy.
7. reCaptcha: Click the I am not a Robot box.
8. Submit: Click submit to register your account.
