Allow me to introduce you to an original character: Daphne Brooks, though her clients call her Peacekeeper.

To most people she's an energetic island hopper who became a published author because it seemed fun, and allowed her to travel. In private circles she's known as the Peacekeeper and nothing else. She's hired to negotiate meeting when 'gifted' people are involved to make sure the grounds are neutral for all parties.
