Topic tags can be added freely to topics as they are made, or at a later time, as well as freely removed. This allows for easy organization of topics, and tagging users, characters, and thread status in an easy-to-see location. The tag list is sorted based upon which topic tags were created first. The ones made in the site's early years display on the first pages, while the newer ones order to the back.
